What to Expect Upon Your Visit
Upon your arrival, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our practice. If you haven't already done so online, we will ask you to complete patient paperwork. This paperwork provides us with your health history and other information related to providing you with the best vision solutions.
Please be sure to bring the following to your appointment:
- Picture ID (or a parents ID if patient is a minor)
- ALL Insurance Cards (visionand medical insurance)
- List of Medications and any medical allergies

At Norman and Miller Eyecare we provide a wide range of eye care services and are ready to serve patients with the most thorough eye health examination possible. To help detect vision-threatening illnesses we use the most technologically advanced equipment to evaluate and treat numerous eye diseases. Listed below are just a few of the services we provide:
Comprehensive Eye Health Examination:
We examine patients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. During a comprehensive examination we perform a complete ocular health evaluation along with a refraction for glasses and contact lenses. Further ocular health testing is done as needed, depending on the recommendation from our doctors.
Diabetic Eye Health Examination:
All of our doctors correspond daily with the medical doctors that treat Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. During a diabetic eye health exam our doctors will dilate your pupils and do a thorough retinal examination, looking for signs of diabetes on the retina (back of eye). Upon completion of the examination, our doctors will send a report to the doctor that is managing your diabetes. It is important that this examination is done every year.
Emergency Eye Health Examination:
Emergent eye infections, traumas, or other ocular diseases need your immediate attention for earliest possible treatment. At all of our locations, if you call with an emergency eye health need, our team will work to get you in for an examination that same day. We diagnosis and treatment many issues such as conjunctivitis (pink eye), red eyes from contact lenses, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, corneal foreign bodies and corneal abrasions, and many other emergency eye health problems. Call as soon as possible for fast diagnosis and treatment!
Contact Lens Fittings & Evaluations:
Along with the new developments in contact lens technologies, our doctors are successful at fitting a wider range of patients with contact lenses. This includes daily-disposable contacts, astigmatism correcting lenses, multifocal (bifocal) contact lenses and even more advanced hard contact lenses like RGPs and Scleral lenses. Our offices carry the newest, most comfortable, and cost friendly contact lenses on the market.
Co-management of Cataract & Other Refractive Surgeries:
Our doctors co-manage our patients pre- and post-operative surgical care with surgeons for cataracts, LASIK, PRK, and other surgical procedures.
